All the studies in this review show that it is possible to reliably measure ERPs during exercise. The diversity of exercise conditions in this review shows that it is possible to study ERPs under conditions that might reasonably be expected to be difficult, such as 3 h of moderately vigorous exercise (66% VO2max) (Grego et al., 2004). The studies by Scanlon and Robles found that noise levels in the external environment had an effect on ERPs N1 and P2 during cycling.
