Cometh now before ye, thine humble servant and olde man of The Echo, I John Eric Vona, beseech...:coughcough:... yikes, sorry, had an Old English frog in my throat. Let me try that again. Listen up, nerds! As the proud advisor of The Echo, I'm going to kick off the new year with a look back at last year's best. I am constantly gushing over how amazing this group of young editors is. Last year's class also knocked my socks off, and it feels like we've really hit our stride as an organization.

While Hollywood has spent decades sending the Earth's final days up in a dizzying array of special effects, and YA fiction has tried to provide instruction manuals on how to survive the end of the world while being just sixteen and still find romance in your life, The Echo is here to provide a softer, quieter, contemplative end to it all.
