FREI AND BOICHIS STRENGTHEN OVERALL TITLE CHARGES AS XCC RACING RETURNS IN LES GETS, HAUTE-SAVOIE After a six-week break, UCI Cross-country Short Track World Cup racing returned in spectacular fashion to Les Gets, Haute-Savoie, where the battles for the overall titles intensified.

Heavy rain, low cloud cover, and near-freezing temperatures forced the Swiss Epic race organisers to reroute the course for the second day in a row, on Friday, 21 August 2026. As had been the case on Stage 2, when the Bernina Pass was removed from the course, on Stage 3 the towering 2 600-metre Scaletta Pass had to be avoided. This meant that the race could not cross the Alps from La Punt to Davos by bike. In the interest of rider safety, a 61-kilometre loop around the Engadin Valley was devised.

After Marc Pritzen and Felix Stehli won Stage 2 of the Swiss Epic on Thursday on their 32-inch-wheel Stoll P32 mountain bikes, we checked out the Stoll website to see what the bikes look like.
