Maliq Brown has become the third Blue Devil to make the NBA in 2026. The former Duke forward was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the No. 44 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft, giving the Blue Devils another draft pick from a roster that again spent the season among the nation's best. Brown's path to the league was a little different than some of Duke's higher profile draft picks, but his value and contributions to winning were obvious throughout his career in Durham.

It took longer than expected, but former Duke star Isaiah Evans is officially off the board in the 2026 NBA Draft. Evans was selected with the No. 33 overall pick by the Brooklyn Nets, with his rights set to be sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a draft-night move. His selection came one night after he went unpicked in Tuesday's first round, despite entering the week with late first-round momentum and working out for teams in that range.
