The analytics (metrics, visualization methods and software applications) developed provided a practical demonstration of approaches that could be used to incorporate Big Data into clinical settings. They allow a means to summarize provider selected objectives into a single score that incorporates historical ability to meet those objectives. Leveraging quantitative statistical measures of experience provides better information than qualitative recollection.
