3.2. Wind Force Excitation The results for the wind force excitations are shown in Figure 16 and Figure 17. The results indicate that the equal displacement rule does not hold for along-wind forces (Figure 16a); however, the rule holds in a limited sense for cross-wind forces (Figure 16b), with an increased fidelity for long-period systems.
