John Walker’s Biography

I've been a games critic and writer since 1999. I started writing for PC Gamer, there for 12 or so years, alongside a lot of the Future gaming mags. That and Eurogamer for a good few years, too.

In 2007 I co-created Rock Paper Shotgun, the PC gaming site, and co-ran that until 2017, when we sold it for delicious money.

I now run www.buried-treasure.org, reviewing unknown indie games that the rest of the press ignores. I'm also an editor at Kotaku, and I co-run a consultancy firm called Quick Save. I am tired.
