DESTREHAN, La. –Ed Reed will never forget this place. With a faraway gaze, baggy shorts and hair as silver as Destrehan High School’s stadium bleachers, the Pro Football Hall of Famer surveyed the house he practically built. No fan enters the venue without seeing “HOME OF ED REED” inscribed atop a plaque of his NFL accomplishments. Since 2002, the year he became Destrehan’s first-ever pro alumnus, he’s made it the site of his annual “Ed Reed Academy” youth football camp.

Feel like I can trust myself a lot more and just go and make more plays,” Sanker said. “That’s one of the big goals I have for myself – being able to find more ways to take the ball away and impact the game more.” In order to make that leap, Sanker will have to embrace change.

Travis Etienne discusses adjustment to Saints’ system, living ‘surreal’ dream of playing for New Orleans Original

METAIRIE, La. – Running back Travis Etienne is settling in with the Saints during OTAs, fresh off signing a four-year deal worth $52 million. The Louisiana native signed back in March and says his situation still feels surreal. “It hasn’t hit me yet. It won’t until Week 3,” Etienne said. “But to my family, I’m a different guy to them when I am wearing that Saints logo. Which I am proud to wear.” In his five years in Jacksonville, Etienne played for three different offensive coordinators.
