Yes. I didn't like it.

What's your favorite social network?

I like Twitter for its quirkiness, and linkedIn for connections.

Why did you become a journalist?

I started writing to share the knowledge I've earned over the years, and to learn about new topics I'm interested in.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I’m most proud of my article explaining topic clusters. It’s a complex subject with lots of ways to go wrong.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Think about your audience. Always cite your sources. Get the facts and details right.

What's your favorite drink?

I love a really nice, full bodied cabernet or syrah.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

I'm probably in the garden pruning my Japanese maples.
