Abstract : Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a multifactorial, world public health problem that often develops as a consequence of acute kidney injury (AKI) and inflammation. Strategies are constantly sought to avoid and mitigate the irreversibility of this disease. One of these strategies is to decrease the inflammation features of AKI and, consequently, the transition to CKD.
