If you were looking for some MLB player props on the opening day of the Wild Card Round for the 2023 MLB Playoffs, you have certainly come to the right place. We don't have many elite pitchers in MLB DFS today. The best pitcher on the slate, Nestor Cortes, could be postponed due to rain. We do have some interesting teams to stack on the flipside including the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers.

Two-Start Pitchers/Streaming Starters: Bieber Fever
Published: Apr 11, 2021 This is more like it. Plenty of two-start options to consider for the coming scoring period, including a baker’s dozen of top-tier arms to plug in and let go. Plenty of hurlers in the middle tier to discuss and contemplate employing for one or both of their starts. Alas, a plethora of SPs reside in the bottom tier as well, best to be avoided unless desperate for a start or two, and it seems a tad early for that level of trepidation.
NHL DFS Power Play - Playbook Core Plays: March 13

2021 MLB Draft Guide: The SMART System
Published: Feb 02, 2021 There is a great debate out there in the fantasy sports community about whether strategy is important. Many terrific fantasy sports experts stick to their values and projections and say with absolute conviction: “let the draft come to you.” While we respect those of our peers who follow that path, when we hear that, we turn into John and Jeremy Ryan of Wedding Crashers fame and think “stop projecting” (see what I did there?).
Fantasy Baseball Waiver Advice: September 20
So you’ve made it to your league’s championship! Congrats! I truly apologize for not getting this article up on Saturday. I had it written and got bogged down with other things on Saturday, it just slipped my mind so I do apologize. But we’re here for Sunday waivers and we have some great options to assist you in getting a championship! Like I said this was written early on Saturday, but I’ve updated the write-up’s to include mentions of performances from Saturday’s slate of games.
KBO Round Up: June 11
Although rumors continue to swirl about Matt Harvey heading to the KBO, the timeline of him pitching makes teams wary to sign him as detailed in this tweet: Matt Harvey Update - Industry source told me that #KBO teams are hesitant to make changes b/c new player needs min 6 weeks (2 week quarantine/work visa/game shape) to get ready. If this was a normal yr, chances are likely that he would have been signed by now. Stay tuned! #KBODK — Daniel Kim ??? ?
KBO: Week 2 In Review
With two weeks in the books, some early trends continue to take shape. Research into the baseballs reveal no change in them compared to 2019 when runs and home runs declined across the KBO. However, through 57 games this season home runs litter the landscape with an average of two per game (114 home runs) compared to only 98 being hit in the first 55 games last season. There’s a couple of factors contributing to the spike in power.

Published: Jun 05, 2019 With the draft now easing into it’s third day, rounds 11-40, it’s a good time to look at some of the guys that ended May with a full stat line and might be looking at a promotion for themselves up to the majors soon Triple-A International League Hitters Bobby Bradley , 1B CLE – The Indians sixth-ranked prospect is off to a hot start at Triple-A Columbus with 16 home runs, 45 RBI and 30 runs scored in 53 games while hitting .282/.353/.589.
2019 Tout Wars AL Only: Bender Says All Rise
If you have yet to draft your fantasy baseball teams, we believe an inside look into how industry analysts employ their own strategy suggestions can be extremely helpful. Either that or we just like to show you how we’re willing to put our money where our mouths are. There’s nothing worse than reading a series of articles on how to draft from your favorite analysts and then catching them doing something completely different in their own leagues.
MLB Spring Training Positional Battles: March 18
Milwaukee Brewers Second Base – Just a quick update regarding this one because just hours after posting last week’s Position Battles article, Craig Counsell anointed Mike Moustakas the Opening Day starter at second base. This isn’t a surprise to anyone, really. Travis Shaw will be the starting third baseman with Orlando Arcia at shortstop and Jesus Aguilar at first base. This will relegate Hernán Pérez , Tyler Saladino , and Cory Spangenberg to utility roles coming off the bench.
2019 MLB Draft Guide: The Importance of Middle Relievers
Published: Jan 30, 2019 Never has the value of middle relief pitching been higher in baseball, and that carries over to the fantasy side of the sport, too. The role of those pitchers who are called upon to replace a struggling (or perhaps injured) starting pitcher has grown tremendously over the course of the last few seasons, especially.
MLB Two Start Pitchers: Week 19
This coming week has a fine selection of top-tier two-start options among starting pitchers throughout both leagues. There are also a handful of available dual-appearance SP’s in the middle tier, some with low ownership percentages across fantasy platforms that you can consider in Week Nineteen. Of course, there are those pitchers you will want to avoid using, with a baker’s dozen populating the bottom tier.
MLB Closing Bell: July 2
There may be a short slate, but there is still plenty to talk about! Weather Issues The only risky weather situation is the White Sox/Reds game, but it seems pretty safe to play. What’s Happening A.J. Pollock will be activated off of the DL for today’s game. Pollock has been out for six weeks with a thumb injury, but was mashing the ball before getting hurt. He hit .293/.349/.620 with 11 home runs and nine stolen bases in just 166 plate appearances.
2018 MLB Injury Report: May 18
It has been another active few days in terms of chaos ripping through fantasy lineups and rosters. We had a major PED suspension and more clarity on the severity of injuries to several impact players. We are only in the middle of May and already GMs are being put to the test with respect to being able to compensate and overcome the loss of many key players. So, without further ado, here is the next edition of the fantasy baseball emergency room.
Fantasy Baseball Daily Round Up: May 18
It’s starting to feel like we exist in a Mookie Betts world to start the season in fantasy. Anyone who passed on him in the middle of drafts must feel buyer’s remorse. Although he did not homer and ceded his major league league to Manny Machado , Betts swiped three bases to become the first Red Sox player to hit three home runs and steal three bases in a game during their career.
