Although my favorite song from the Rolling Stones' "Tattoo You” album is "Waiting on a Friend,” today's theme goes better with "Start Me Up.” Maybe not in the way Mick Jagger intended, but a common theme for this column is identifying hitters who have moved into first or second in the batting order. This tweet caught my attention: https://x.com/CodifyBaseball/status/2063278152093434246?s=20 Although this was shared on June 6, it's still accurate through games played on June 17.
