Tiffin-area kids learn to cook during culinary summer camp

TIFFIN, Ohio — Summer camps come in many different forms, and one in Tiffin is teaching kids how to handle the heat of the kitchen. Dozens of 8 to 12-year-old kids are spending three days at the Tiffin Parks and Recreation culinary camp. Partner school Vanguard-Sentinel Career & Technology Center has been offering its expertise and facility for six years to give hands-on cooking lessons.

Hancock courthouse building added to list of 'Ohio's Most Endangered Historic Sites'

FINDLAY, Ohio — A historic building in downtown Findlay will soon be without a tenant and some community members are worried that without a clear use, they could lose a piece of their local history. As construction continues for the new Hancock County Probate and Juvenile Court building, folks in the community are beginning to ask what will happen to the old building. With no clear plan in place as of right now, Preservation Ohio added it to its list of Ohio's Most Endangered Historic Sites.
