Relational representations in classification: comparing similarity and structure-based approaches
Abstract Classification has become an important analytical tool in psychology, yet methodological research has focused primarily on improving learning algorithms, while the representation of psychological information has received comparatively less attention.
AI-enhanced adaptive virtual screening of large libraries for ligand discovery
|
Abstract Ultralarge virtual screenings (ULVSs) evaluate billions of molecules for drug discovery but face cost, flexibility and scalability limits. We introduce AdaptiveFlow, an open-source platform that makes ULVSs more accessible, scalable and efficient and supports artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) method development.

Consistent neural representation of valence in watching and recall conditions
Abstract Recall is an act of elicitation of emotions similar to those emotions previously experienced. Unlike the past experiences where external sensory stimuli triggered emotions, recall does not require external sensory stimuli. This difference is pertinent to the key debate in affective representation, addressing whether the representation of valence is consistent across modalities (modality-general) or dependent on modalities (modality-specific).
Consistency of affective responses to naturalistic stimuli across individuals using intersubject correlation analysis based on neuroimaging data
Abstract In this study, we used functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data obtained for naturalistic emotional stimuli to examine the consistency of neural responses among participants in specific regions related to valence. We reanalyzed fMRI data from 17 participants as they watched episodes of "Sherlock" and used emotional ratings from 125 participants.

Comprehensive Analysis of NKX3.2 in Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Bigdata
1. Introduction Liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) is the most common cancer worldwide with a poor prognosis [1,2]. The most common type of LIHC is hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), which begins in the main type of liver cell, the hepatocyte. Its other types, such as intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and hepatoblastoma, are much less common. There are limited data on the treatment of advanced liver cancer, even though LIHC is the common cancer among solid tumors [3].

Universal Correction of Blood Coagulation Factor VIII in Patient-Derived Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells Using CRISPR/Cas9
Highlights • Two types of FVIII mutations were corrected using Cas9-mediated KI in patient iPSCs • Targeted KI of the FVIII into the H11 site induced the production of functional protein • Whole-genome sequencing analyses revealed no off-target mutations in the corrected iPSCs Summary Hemophilia A (HA) is caused by genetic mutations in the blood coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) gene.
