TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Twin Blades is gearing up for another season of competitive axe throwing, and organizers say no prior experience is needed to participate. The league has operated in Twin Falls for five years under the World Axe Throwing League banner. Participants can throw hatchets, big axes, and knives across an eight-week season. Four seasons run each year, with four games guaranteed each night.

BURLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The city of Burley marked the Fourth of July along the banks of the Snake River Saturday with what organizers called the largest fireworks show in the city’s history. Families filled the park beginning early Saturday, taking part in food, water activities and community gatherings. The event officially kicked off at 4 p.m. with a bounce house, games and a watermelon eating contest open to all ages.
