1 Introduction It has been reported that the Covid-19 pandemic has led to a significant rise in psychological distress (Pfefferbaum and North 2020; Brooks et al. 2020). The mental health challenges have not only affected individuals' well-being but have also reported cascading effects on dental health, for example, by an increase in the prevalence of bruxism and temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) (Mirhashemi et al. 2022; Winocur-Arias et al. 2022; Shalev-Antsel et al. 2023).
