How is social media changing news?
Definitely having it sooner than waiting for the actual news to be published with extra details. It's just straight to the point.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Peter Parker from the spider man series in the 1990s animated series. inspired myself to become a photojournalist and have the motivation.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Otter.ai for transcript, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, Microsoft word, and Photo Mechanic.
Who do you wish followed you?
I don't have anyone who wish followed me. Can't decide who.
Why did you become a journalist?
To capture and write a piece of history in the recent world. With the intention to compete my previous self to succeed.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My first article in the Long Beach Current covering the protests that happened in Downtown Los Angeles on a Monday night.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never let the excessive stress ruin your chances of becoming a great journalist. Do what you do best and forget the rest.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post where I'm subscribed to the two publications and inspire to improve my writing.
