German factual content company Autentic has acquired Leipzig-based boutique distributor Albatross World Sales, adding more than 600 hours of programming to its catalogue and strengthening its position in the international market for documentary and factual content. The acquisition expands Autentic’s portfolio across several factual genres, including blue-chip nature and wildlife, science, travel and culture, and history programming. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has launched two new AI-powered capabilities for its 3Ready platform, introducing semantic content discovery and editorial workflow assistance through its 3Ready Hero UX intelligence layer. The new features, 3Ready Hero Search and 3Ready Hero for Editors, are designed for pay-TV operators, telcos, broadcasters, streaming services and automotive manufacturers.

Ströer has become the exclusive advertising sales partner for Zattoo in Germany, expanding its connected TV (CTV) portfolio with access to the TV streaming provider’s addressable video inventory. Under the agreement, advertisers working with Ströer will gain exclusive access to advertising inventory on Zattoo across smart TVs, PCs, streaming devices, smartphones and tablets. The partnership strengthens Ströer’s position in the growing connected TV and streaming advertising market.
