I'm sorry, you'll probably find this is a really long article. From the title, you probably think I'm either about to about to profess the infinite glory of AI — or proclaim how it will gradually end the world and take your job. But I promise that's not what this is. In fact, since you're reading this here on Dev.to, I promise to tell you why you're likely to do well in a post-AI world. For as long as programming has existed, one thing has remained constant: it’s always been about writing code.

1 INTRODUCTION Surveys to establish the presence of rare species are time-consuming, labour-intensive and costly. Even exhaustive survey efforts have the potential to result in false absences if the target species is difficult to detect.
