ASTON, PA — Drivers traveling through Aston Township next week should plan for daytime detours as PennDOT crews complete base repair work on Route 452 (Pennell Road). According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Route 452 will be closed between Old Pennell Road and Glendale Boulevard from Monday, Aug. 3, through Thursday, Aug. 6. Here's PennDOT's map of the area. Closures will last from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. All work is weather-dependent.
