The mere thought of Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey teaming up for a new TV show is enough to create high levels of anticipation. Given their magnificent work together on the first season of True Detective, a high that has never been reached on the show since, it’s only right to be excited. With Apple TV’s Brothers though, the pair find themselves in a more light-hearted comedic scenario, where family truths have the potential to change their lives forever.

When we last saw Chad Powers, his true identity was threatened to be revealed by Coach Ricky Hudson, someone he was hoping he could actually have an intimate relationship with. Fast forward to season two, and the lie has never been bigger, and the disguise has never been more under threat. This sophomore season brings back the comedy but also adds a dark edge to what was a light-hearted debut season, and it’s all the better for it.

When you settle down to watch a shark film called Chum, you know you’re bound to witness something so silly yet entertaining enough to justify the time watching it. Sadly, that is very much not the case; the film instead is an exercise in utilising AI in all the wrong ways, which results in it being the worst film of the year so far, and any year. Shark films don’t seem that difficult to get right; throw in some good kills and a menacing shark, and you have yourself a recipe for success.
