We’re off to a cloudier-than-expected start to Friday in Edmonton and we may even see a couple sprinkles/light showers in parts of the area this morning. Hourly and 7-day forecast on our CTVNewsEdmonton.ca weather hub There are some small shower cells northwest of Edmonton that are tracking southeast toward Stony Plain/Edmonton. Those should be out of the Edmonton region by mid-morning and we’ll get some sun midday and early this afternoon.

Not much change to the overall weather pattern as we’re set for another cloudy day with some more showers and possibly thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Hourly and 7-day forecast on our CTVNewsEdmonton.ca weather hub The rain that moved through the Edmonton area overnight has mostly moved off to the south and west this morning. So, we should be mostly rain-free through the morning and midday.

We’re back into a cooler, cloudy and wet pattern for the next few days. Hourly and 7-day forecast on our CTVNewsEdmonton.ca weather hub Showers will roll into the Edmonton region from the west by mid to late morning and there may be some lightning associated with that as it pushes through. We should get a bit of a break from the showers this afternoon and then a few more showers are possible this evening or late tonight. There’s also a decent chance of some showers in the area Wednesday morning.
