Josh Cotts is a Senior Features Writer at Game Rant. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2019 with a B.A. in Mass Communications & Media Studies and has been commended since grade school for his writing ability. When writing, he prefers to do firsthand research if possible, even if the information he needs can be found somewhere else online, as he has found that fully trusting other sources often produces errors. He also prides himself in designing many of his own images for his articles using his skills in Photoshop.

Josh began his work with Game Rant as a Gaming Features Writer in December 2023 and became a Senior Features Writer in February 2024. In the past, he has specialized in writing reviews and guides, as he is known as the "Grind King" among his friends, due to his ability to quickly 100% games. However, he also thoroughly enjoys writing opinion and analysis pieces, explaining complex lore, hidden meanings, etc. During his former job as a Gaming Features Writer for CBR, he quickly rose through the ranks and within just a few months was receiving early copies of video games and writing reviews, as well as a host of day-one features and guides for them.
