Dear Editor, We read with interest the recent article by Pinborg and colleagues which aimed to ‘investigate funding sources and their putative influence on patients', caregivers' and healthcare providers' reported preferences with regard to different properties of therapies and treatment outcomes of [atopic dermatitis]’.1 We agree that a synthesis of preference studies in atopic dermatitis is useful given the rapidly evolving therapeutic landscape and preference-sensitive nature of treatment.
