First reported by ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Chicago White Sox have traded outfielder Derek Hill to the Philadelphia Phillies for prospects Dylan Campbell and Jose Colmenares. Adding to the deal, the White Sox are sending $250,000 in international bonus money to Philadelphia. Returning to the White Sox to take Hill’s roster spot, is outfielder Everson Pereira coming off the injured list. The White Sox 40-man roster is now at 39 players.

Originally called a strike, Buxton’s intuition paid off as ABS reversed the call to a ball. On the very next pitch, Sandlin challenged Buxton with a low fastball and got burned. A 417-foot blast out to the center field bleachers put Sandlin and the White Sox behind early.
