@NeilMcMahon @swearyanthony To lower the risk of protesters picketing the venues to cancel the booking, I'd guess. Also just the shtick of it, "we're the resistance, outsiders, we need to keep our meetings secret because THE LEFT want to stop us"

@NeilMcMahon @swearyanthony I'm almost positive the venues will be along the lines of RSL clubs or small private clubs - Latham and Cameron did a Trump election party at the Rugby Club at circular quay last year

@NeilMcMahon @swearyanthony Oh look I'm sure the venues exist and have been booked. My point is more, we don't know whether they're 30 seat venues or 3000 seat venues, so bragging about selling out is a bit funny

@NeilMcMahon I've been thinking about this. I'm really interested to see the size of the venues - commentators and supporters bragging about "sold out" doesn't mean anything at this stage because no word on how big these places are
