No.

How is social media changing news?

Timeliness and audience growth. As for the former, gotta be fast to get the story! And for the latter, being on Twitter helps to get clicks.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes! I started as staff writer, then worked as the religion editor for a year, and the managing editor for about two years.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write and write and write

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That it is only a beat of its own (or is limited to a sub-beat in politics) and doesn't have a place in the tech, food, film, etc... beats
