In an Orange Empire Conference match, the FC men's soccer team earned a much-needed 1-0 victory on the road Tuesday night at Orange Coast College. Locking down their third win of the season, the Hornets improve securing to 3-6-5 overall and are still in the race at 2-2-3 in conference play. Meanwhile, the Pirates fall to 1-9-3 overall and 0-6-1 in the OEC. Sophomore forward Josiahs Palacios provided the game-deciding goal in the 33rd minute burying a shot off an assist from Cisco Torres.

The tie gives Fullerton an overall record of 2-4-3 overall with a an OEC record of 1-0-1, while the Chargers now sport an overall record of 5-1-3 with an OEC record of 1-0-1.
