theskylineview.com — On Monday, May 9, 11 a.m. the "Faces of Asia and the Pacific Islands Culture Bazaar" occurred in building 6 where students were able to see and take a look at various cultures from Asia and the Pacific Islands. The event lasted until 3 p.m. and featured a fashion show too which started at 12:30 p.m. This video shows only one of the bands that performed during the event.

Skyline College hosted the 2016 San Bruno Chamber of Commerce's State of the City Address and Officers Installation in January. Hosting this event has become a Skyline tradition. Skyline College's Learning Commons underwent a face lift during Winter Break. The remodel includes library resources and individual glass-enclosed cubes. Skyline College welcomed students, parents and teachers from Beijing at an International Student Program in January. The delegation's goal was to learn about international students' admission requirements and transfer to universities.

Both Democrats and Republicans will vote for their respective favorites to be on general election ballots in November. I'm torn. It is a given that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could step into the Presidency on day one; she is super experienced and "wicked smart," to quote President Obama from a recent TV interview, and it would seem fair to have a woman for president. On the other hand, Senator Bernie Sanders would likely be able to step into the presidency, if not on day one, then on day two, because he is also brilliant.

College of San Mateo Bulldogs, NorCal's wild card team, played their hearts out and their butts off, but the Chabot Gladiators were.... well, gladiators. This past November I turned 70. What does that mean? It's a number. Einstein was right: time is totally relative! I'm not sure what 70 is supposed to feel like; whatever, I feel strong, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (where on earth did that expression come from?!).
