ABSTRACT Contact dermatitis is a common disease, caused by repeated skin contact to contact allergens or irritants, resulting in allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) and/or irritant contact dermatitis. Summary Psoriasis is a common skin disease affecting approximately 5‐10 percent of people in the Nordic countries, and more than 125 million people worldwide. The disease has been associated with low treatment adherence, meaning people don't stick with their treatment, and unhealthy lifestyle (e.g. smoking, alcohol consumption, decreased physical activity) and, in turn, cardiometabolic disease.

Short contact with nickel causes allergic contact dermatitis: an experimental study
Knowledge about the required duration of exposure for elicitation of allergic nickel dermatitis in nickel‐allergic individuals is limited. However, it often has been proposed that short skin contact is safe. To examine whether repeated skin contact with nickel over short time periods (3 × 10 min) can elicit allergic nickel dermatitis.
