@nickfeely What he's doing is incredible, in my opinion. What was his great sin? Infidelity? I'm definitely not a fan but if infidelity is the tipping point between support and ire, then very few sports mega-stars would earn our backing.
@Qu1ny @WickedHomer @nyjets I can agree with that. Ironically, it was a backup journeyman who torched the Patriots. Outside of Tom Brady, I think coaching wins Super Bowls, not QBs.
@Qu1ny @WickedHomer @nyjets Maybe. Remember, Brees and Rodgers have only two Super Bowls between them. In that sense, are they any better than Joe Flacco? Their numbers are better, obviously, and they're both Hall of Famers. But, all three only have one SB win to their names.
@Qu1ny @WickedHomer @nyjets Goff is the prime example. He was touted as a franchise QB. Under Fisher, he was awful. Under McVay, he was good.
@Qu1ny @WickedHomer @nyjets I would say Brady, Rodgers and Brees could be "franchise". Where would they be, though, without Belechik, McCarthy or Payton?
