A native Washingtonian, Jason Samenow has been a weather enthusiast since age 10 (1987). At the University of Virginia, he earned a degree in environmental science, focusing in atmospheric science. He went on to earn a master’s degree in atmospheric science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. Jason is currently the Washington Post’s weather editor.
