(1−20) Among these species, methyl vinyl ketone oxide [MVKO, CH2═CHC(CH3)OO] is of particular importance in the atmosphere because it is a primary product of isoprene ozonolysis. (21,22) Isoprene is the most abundant nonmethane volatile organic compound (VOC) emitted into the atmosphere.
