1. Introduction Dengue virus (DENV) is a flavivirus transmitted by mosquitoes, with a single-stranded positive-sense RNA genome and four serotypes (DENV-1, -2, -3, and -4), along with other viruses such as Zika virus (ZIKV) and Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) [1,2]. The DENV genome encodes a polyprotein of 10 proteins, including 3 structural proteins (capsid, premembrane, and envelope) and 7 nonstructural proteins (NS1, NS2A, NS2B, NS3, NS4A, NS4B, and NS5) [3].
