1. Introduction As the fourth major food crop after corn, wheat, and rice, potatoes play a vital role in ensuring food security and increasing farmers’ income. In 2020, the potato planting area in Northwest China reached 1.35 million hectares, with a total yield of 5.19 million tons, accounting for 28.97% of the country’s total planting area and 28.88% of the total yield, respectively [1]. Despite this significant contribution, the level of mechanization in harvesting remains relatively low.
