Proteomic analysis Cells were lysed in 5% SDS-containing sample buffer and the proteins were isolated using S-TRAP micro spin columns (Protifi) and digested to obtain peptides for mass spectrometric analysis according to the manufacturer's instructions. Briefly, samples were homogenized in a buffer containing 5% SDS, 5 mM DTT and 50 mM ammonium bicarbonate (pH = 8), and incubated at 56°C for 30 min for disulfide bond reduction.
