It’s official: It’s an analog summer — the perfect opportunity to focus on spending less time doomscrolling and more time investing in hobbies and activities away from social media. That said, I don’t know about you, but this is actually embarrassingly harder to do than I wish it was. For me at least, a lot of what I spend my time doing exists online. So, while I want to partake in an analog summer and be more present, that’s easier said than done.

Finding out one of your favorite artists is going on tour is a really exciting feeling. Planning outfits, buying merch, and listening to all their music on the way home from the show is a top-tier experience. But, depending on what artist you’re trying to see, trying to get tickets has started to feel less like a fun experience and more like heading into battle.

When I read Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series in high school, never in my wildest dreams did I think it would become a TV show. I bought those books during a particularly rough time, and they became a huge comfort to me. So, it’s no surprise when the first Season of the Off Campus TV series, based on Kennedy’s first book in her series, The Deal, was released on Prime Video, I watched all eight episodes in less than 24 hours.
