Emotion regulation variability and flexibility in daily life show distinct associations with well-being, age, and executive functions
Abstract Flexible and effective emotion regulation (ER) is crucial for mental health and well-being. Research on individual differences in ER, however, has often relied on global self-reports or controlled laboratory settings, which may not fully capture the dynamic and context-dependent nature of regulation in daily life.
Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes-derived CD8+ clonotypes infiltrate the tumor tissue and mediate tumor regression in glioblastoma
ABSTRACT Adoptive cell therapy with tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) has demonstrated consistent clinical efficacy in treating advanced melanoma and other “hot” tumors. However, it has shown limited success in “cold” tumors like glioblastoma. We present the successful treatment of a rapidly progressing glioblastoma patient with TILs expanded using a defined cytokine combination of IL-2, IL-15, and IL-21.

Domain‐specific knowledge and domain‐general abilities in children's science problem‐solving
INTRODUCTION Problem-solving abilities in children are assumed to foster subsequent personal and professional success (Diamond, 2018). Thus, problem-solving is a relevant research topic regarding childhood development and educational support (Keen, 2011). Problem-solving describes the process of reaching a desired state (i.e., a goal) that is different from an initial state (Funke et al., 2018).
Feeling lonely during the pandemic: Towards personality-tailored risk profiles
ABSTRACT This is the first study to disentangle associations of within- and between-person fluctuations in loneliness and their effect on evening mood during a nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19. To contribute to the development of personality-tailored risk profiles, we additionally explored the moderating role of trait neuroticism and extraversion on the association of within- and between-person loneliness and mood.
New Insights into the role of the phonological loop in task switching: evidence from three different age groups
The phonological loop plays an important role in task switching. Until now, however, it has been unclear whether it is the maintenance of the task sequence or the retrieval of the task goal that requires phonological processing.
Putting a stereotype to the test: The case of gender differences in multitasking costs in task-switching and dual-task situations

In silico and cell-based analyses reveal strong divergence between prediction and observation of T-cell-recognized tumor antigen T-cell epitopes
Tumor exomes provide comprehensive information on mutated, overexpressed genes and aberrant splicing, which can be exploited for personalized cancer immunotherapy. Of particular interest are mutated tumor antigen T-cell epitopes, because neoepitope-specific T cells often are tumoricidal. However, identifying tumor-specific T-cell epitopes is a major challenge.
Action Video Game Training for Healthy Adults: A Meta-Analytic Study
Introduction The video game industry has developed for more than 40 years since the release of the first arcade machine and household gaming console. Originally, video games were usually associated with aggressive behaviors, poor school performance, video game addiction, motion sickness, seizures, and instability of mood (e.g., Kasteleijn-Nolst Trenite et al., 2002; Gentile et al., 2004; Polman et al., 2008).
Making Working Memory Work
This meta-analysis examined the effects of process-based executive-function and working memory training (49 articles, 61 independent samples) in older adults (> 60 years). The interventions resulted in significant effects on performance on the trained task and near-transfer tasks; significant results were obtained for the net pretest-to-posttest gain relative to active and passive control groups and for the net effect at posttest relative to active and passive control groups.
