A concerning statistic revealed that one in every eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with this condition during their lifetime (2). The importance of early detection cannot be overstated; diagnosis at stage 0 or 1 promises a 5-year survival rate of 99% (3).

Introduction Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a crucial gene for cellular regeneration and survival, and it plays key roles in tissue repair and maintaining the cellular microenvironment [1-4]. However, mutations in the EGFR gene are linked to various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gallbladder cancer, and glioblastoma [5-7]. Therefore, EGFR is an important target for cancer treatment.
