10.14.26 -- Shaping Drug Development By Starting With The Disease
Webinar: Viral Vector for Rare and Ultra-rare Disease Rare and ultra-rare disease programs require viral vector strategies tailored to smaller patient populations. Explore practical approaches to right-size development and manufacturing, determine appropriate scale, reduce costs and timelines, and align processes with clinical and commercial needs.
Designing tech-ready recreational sport systems: a conceptual analysis of unified and modular architectures
Abstract Recreational sport represents the largest and most diverse segment of global sport participation, yet sport science and coaching research remains largely centered on elite performance contexts and technology-driven interventions. As a result, many recreational sport programs lack coherent system-level structures that support long-term participation, adaptability across skill levels, and scalable innovation.

04.21.26 -- All The Ways Global Biopharma Still Grapples With Annex 1
De-Risk Your Next Process Decision Join the Cytiva process development virtual summit (May 19–21, 2026) for data-first sessions on analytics, purification, intensification, and scale-up to reduce rework and accelerate tech transfer. Attend one talk or 20+ and leave with practical frameworks you can apply immediately. See full agenda Biopharma companies can't consistently meet Annex 1 expectations. At the heart of these problems is that regulators have shifted the burden of proof to manufacturers.

Advancing Engineered Allogeneic Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Therapies Original
By Ho Yoon Khei, Jun Yung Woo, and Khang Luu Advancing engineered allogeneic mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapies from the laboratory to clinical use requires overcoming a significant hurdle: producing cells at a scale that meets patient demand without compromising safety or efficacy. While open-system setups often suffice for early trials, they introduce higher contamination risks and labor demands that can impede commercial scalability.

Community Resilience and COVID-19: A Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Resilience Attributes in 16 Countries
1. Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to severe disruptions and policy challenges for governments across the world. While public healthcare systems have come under immense pressure, public trust in governments and institutions are also in decline. As a consequence, there has been intensified focus on resilience as a policy goal or attribute in societies seeking to address the COVID-19 pandemic [1,2,3,4].
Designing policy robustness: outputs and processes
1. Introduction The main aspiration of policy design as well as of policymakers is to be able to formulate durable solutions for problems perceived as collective. This means that policy decisions are expected to be capable of persisting over time, in terms of goals pursued and the capacity to maintain an acceptable level of effectiveness or functionality in the pursuit of these goals.

Objective: Hepatic steatosis is associated with an increased risk of graft loss. Although the controlled attenuation parameter (CAP), a process based on transient elastography, has been suggested as a noninvasive method of assessing hepatic steatosis, to date, there is no study on the usefulness of CAP as a single screening tool for detecting hepatic steatosis in potential living donor liver. We evaluated the accuracy of CAP for detecting hepatic steatosis in potential liver donors.

Age of entry into the labor market and career success: The case of the NFL
This study extends previous research that examines the relationship between age of entry into the sports labor pool and career success (e.g., Rodenberg & Kim, 2012; Rodenberg & Stone, 2011; Sowell & Mounts, 2005) by investigating the impact of precocity on career-level performance of National Football League (NFL) players. The NFL has faced several legal issues since its inception, with one of the most prominent being the age eligibility rule.
