Being a creative helper is absolutely central to my practice because I go back to knowledge, values, and skills throughout my career. I really like the BASW Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) as a way of negotiating yourself as a social worker and, indeed, with your employers through your career. Relationship helping is absolutely central.
