Perioperative management of pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in a patient with moyamoya disease: a rare case report
Abstract Background: Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a rare chronic occlusive cerebrovascular disorder associated with a high risk of perioperative ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly malignant digestive system tumor with high surgical risk. The coexistence of MMD and PDAC is extremely rare, and no consensus on standardized perioperative management protocols has been established to date.
Modular Assembly of Higher-Order DNA Nanotube Tile Nanostructures Using DNA Annular Scaffolds Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Inspired by natural systems, synthetic biology employs diverse biomaterials to construct artificial systems on the basis of the principle of modular assembly. However, the rational construction of predictable, stable, and logically controllable higher-order nanostructures remains challenging. DNA nanotechnology, particularly DNA tile and DNA origami strategies, has enabled advances for the construction of artificial modular systems.

The combination of a cancer vaccine, pembrolizumab, and stereotactic body radiation in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer: a single-arm, phase II study
|
Abstract In this Phase II study (NCT02648282) of locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC), 58 patients were enrolled and intended for an immunotherapy including GM-CSF-secreting allogeneic pancreatic cancer vaccine (GVAX) and pembrolizumab and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) following standard chemotherapy. Fifty-four evaluable patients received two cycles of immunotherapy and SBRT and reassessed for resectability.

Crystal-facet-directed all-vacuum-deposited perovskite solar cells - Nature Materials
|
Abstract Vacuum-based deposition is a scalable, solvent-free industrial method ideal for uniform coatings on complex substrates. However, all-vacuum-deposited perovskite solar cells fabricated by thermal evaporation trail solution-processed counterparts in efficiency and stability due to film quality challenges, necessitating advancement and improved understanding. Here, we report a co-evaporation route for 1.67-eV wide-bandgap perovskites by introducing a PbCl2 co-source to optimize film quality.

Stabilized perovskite ink for scalable coating enables high-efficiency perovskite modules
Abstract Perovskite inks play critical roles in determining film quality and device performance, and ink stability is desired to ensure high device reproducibility. Here, we reveal the instability issue of current cesium-formamidinium lead triiodide (CsxFA1−xPbI3) inks whose aggregation and precipitation tendencies are induced by excessively strong solvent-lead-halide coordination.
Exposing binding-favourable facets of perovskites for tandem solar cells
Exposing binding-favourable facets of perovskites for tandem solar cells† Improved understanding of heterojunction interfaces has enabled multijunction photovoltaic devices to achieve power conversion efficiencies that exceed the detailed-balance limit for single-junctions. For wide-bandgap perovskites, however, the pronounced energy loss across the heterojunctions of the active and charge transport layers impedes multijunction devices from reaching their full efficiency potential.
Resilience pathways for halide perovskite photovoltaics under temperature cycling - Nature Reviews Materials
Abstract Metal-halide perovskite solar cells have achieved power conversion efficiencies comparable to those of silicon photovoltaic (PV) devices, approaching 27% for single-junction devices. The durability of the devices, however, lags far behind their performance. Their practical implementation implies the subjection of the material and devices to temperature cycles of varying intensity, driven by diurnal cycles or geographical characteristics.
Diamine chelates for increased stability in mixed Sn–Pb and all-perovskite tandem solar cells - Nature Energy
|
Abstract Perovskite tandem solar cells show promising performance, but non-radiative recombination and its progressive worsening with time, especially in the mixed Sn–Pb low-bandgap layer, limit performance and stability. Here we find that mixed Sn–Pb perovskite thin films exhibit a compositional gradient, with an excess of Sn on the surface—and we show this gradient exacerbates oxidation and increases the recombination rate.

Defective Cr2CTx-Based Sensors with Highly Sensitivity for NO2 Detection at Room Temperature
Defective Cr2CTx-Based Sensors with Highly Sensitivity for NO2 Detection at Room Temperature Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), a primary contributor to ozone depletion and acid rain, seriously threatens human health. However, the low response and slow dynamics derived from pristine MXene remain a challenge to their real application of NO2 detection.

Potential-Resolved Electrochemiluminescence for Simultaneous Determination of Multiplex Bladder Cancer Markers
Potential-Resolved Electrochemiluminescence for Simultaneous Determination of Multiplex Bladder Cancer Markers A novel ECL immunosensor was developed for simultaneous determination of multiplex bladder cancer markers. DNA tetrahedrals as capture probes, while Ru-MOF@AuNPs and AuAgNCs act as signal reporters, yield well-separated signals reflecting NUMA1 and CFHR1 concentrations. This strategy offers a new platform for clinical immunoassays, enabling simultaneous multiplex tumor marker detection.

Halide homogenization for low energy loss in 2-eV-bandgap perovskites and increased efficiency in all-perovskite triple-junction solar cells - Nature Energy
Abstract Monolithic all-perovskite triple-junction solar cells have the potential to deliver power conversion efficiencies beyond those of state-of-art double-junction tandems and well beyond the detailed-balance limit for single junctions. Today, however, their performance is limited by large deficits in open-circuit voltage and unfulfilled potential in both short-circuit current density and fill factor in the wide-bandgap perovskite sub cell.
