AbstractBackground: Appropriate selection of mask interface is important for CPAP treatment in OSA. We sought to evaluate if an interface trial can improve patient-driven selection of interfaces with respect to CPAP compliance.Methods: In this prospective pilot study, patients with at least moderately severe OSA (Apnea-Hypopnea index (AHI) ? 15) had a 5-minute trial each for three different interfaces (nasal mask (NM), oronasal mask (ON), nasal pillow (NP)) and nominated their initial preference.
