Behavioral and histopathological analyses were conducted on 5×FAD mice within the GH group, SI group, GH-EE group, and SI-EE group to investigate the effects of physical EE and early SI on AD-like pathophysiology (Fig. 1A). The short-term spatial memory was assessed using the Y-maze test. The results indicated that, compared to GH-5×FAD mice, SI-5×FAD mice exhibited a significant decrease in both the time spent in the novel arm and the number of entries into the novel arm.
