1. Introduction Timber is a renewable, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly material that absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. During manufacturing, it requires little energy, it opens all kinds of new possibilities during operation in wooden structures, where the hitherto widespread use of concrete and bricks can be replaced. Based on all the above, it can be concluded that the construction industry is increasingly turning to timber as a construction material.
