Sake Meguri 2026 returns to MBS with tickets from SGD 65

Sake Meguri 2026 will take place at the Peony Junior Ballroom at Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 24 and 25 July, with a Friday VIP session followed by two four-hour general-admission tastings on Saturday. Organiser Sake.sg says more than 20 master brewers from Japan will attend, with more than 200 labels expected to be available. Participating producers include Katsuyama Supreme Sake, Umenoyado, Hakkaisan Brewery, CHOYA Umeshu and Kirishima Shuzo.

Anthony Chen’s We Are All Strangers completes his Singapore trilogy on 20 August

Anthony Chen’s We Are All Strangers will open in Singapore cinemas on 20 August 2026. Distributed locally by Golden Village Pictures and Giraffe Pictures, the film became the first Singaporean title selected for the Berlin International Film Festival Competition in 2026, where it competed for the Golden Bear. It later opened the 50th Hong Kong International Film Festival.

She steps up to the shooting line. Her feet settle into place, and the bow rises. The string is drawn. For a few short seconds, everything else fades away, leaving only the sight pin hovering over the target. Then the clicker snaps. The arrow whips forward and finds its mark. Gold. The world snaps back into existence.
