What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use a variety of social media tools and am trained in Photoshop and Flash.
Who do you wish followed you?
I wish that Robin Roberts followed me. As a young gay journalist from Mississippi, she is a true inspiration.
Why did you become a journalist?
My grandfather told me to always listen to a person's story. I was inspired and never wanted to do anything else.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have a newspaper, but I did anchor for the morning news show. I also was on the yearbook staff.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of working on a multimedia project on a transgendered resident in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The best time to pitch me is anytime. I'm a new media journalist. I'm available 24/7/365.
