Man killed in collision with semi-trailer on I-25 in Pueblo identified Original

A 21-year-old man was killed the morning of June 18 in a crash on Interstate 25 near the City Center Drive on-ramp. The victim has been identified as Javien Aaron Miller, according to Interim Pueblo County Coroner Gregory Grahek. Miller's next of kin have been formally notified. Police responded to the scene around 9:40 a.m. on Thursday after receiving several reports of an accident on southbound I-25, according to Pueblo police.

Southbound Interstate 25 exit closed in Pueblo due to crash

June 18, 2026, 1:23 p.m. MT Pueblo police are asking drivers to avoid the area of Interstate 25 southbound at City Center Drive following a wreck the morning of June 18. As of 1 p.m., exit 98 southbound was still closed to traffic due to the crash, as was the right lane of traffic, according to COtrip.com, the real-time traffic and travel information platform managed by the Colorado Department of Transportation. "Crash in the right lanes, merge to left lane," the COtrip website states.
