A former Nigerian Ambassador to Japan, Gana Isa, has demanded the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He argued that the administration has failed in its constitutional responsibility to protect Nigerians’ lives and property. Naija News reports that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kwara State made the call while addressing journalists in Ilorin. He said the Federal Government should relinquish power if it could no longer effectively address the country’s security challenges.

A blogger, Ejike Ofoegbu, has publicly apologised to the governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo and his son, Ozonna, over a series of false stories. Naija News reports that Ofoegbu, the owner and publisher of Igbo Times Magazine and News, made the apology in a statement titled “Public Apology and Full Retraction”, shared on Saturday by the Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.
