Development of Drop Size Distribution Model for Dropwise Condensation on a Superhydrophobic Surface
Abstract : This study presents a mathematical model of drop size distribution during dropwise condensation on a superhydrophobic surface. The model is developed by combining a power law growth model, an exponentially decaying population model, and a Gaussian probability model for growth variations. The model is validated against experiment data, with correlations ranging from 88% to 94%.
